Many of us are using the internet without being conscious of some of the online machinations that could easily steal private information or data from us.

One of these is the Firesheep which is actually a tool from the popular web browsing program Firefox.

What is Firesheep?

Firesheep is a Firefox add-on made my Eric Butler which makes things easier for internet users on logging on to popular social networking sites like Facebook. This add-on makes an automatic feature of making the logging in process easier. During this logging in process, our information is provided in a cookie under a secured network.

Unfortunately, with the ease that Firesheep provides, the automation of logging in are actually making such process under an unsecured Wifi network which makes all our private date on such us log in ID and passwords virtually available in the web.

Now, installing Firesheep Firefox add-on may certainly be a bad idea but if you are already with it, time to protect yourself.

All you have to do is to download the Firefox plugin Force TLS and install it. After completing the downloading and installation, all you have to do is open the “preferences” tab of your firefox and add all the websites or domains that you want to have a secure network (it will make the http into an https) and when done, just have to restart your Firefox and you are done.

For Chrome use, KB SSL Enforcer will be of great help and the Froce TLS for Chrome.

Everything is going tech folks.

iPhone has released a new application that gives users the opportunity to confess their sins and helped Catholics to rediscover their faith. It invites iPhone users to "personalized examination of conscience for each user.”

Patrick Leinen from the Little iApps in Indiana said:

"Our desire is to invite Catholics to engage in their faith through digital technology.”

"Taking to heart Pope Benedict XVI's message from last years' World Communications Address, our goal with this project is to offer a digital application that is truly 'new media at the service of the word."

World Communications Day this year was celebrated on January 24, and Pope Benedict XVI said on his address that there is a greater need of Christian presence in the digital age.

The iPhone confession app was helped developed by some members of the Catholic clergy of the United States.

The app is $1.99.

What do you think of the new app?
I noticed that tech rumors are really making a making a big on the web lately. As the iPad2 rumors are taking the tech world by storm, rumors of the gadget that would follow it immediately soon hit the web also. That is the iPad3 which is rumored to be released by Fall.

Now, going back to rumors, Bloomberg on an article most recently said that Apple is gearing to release real soon a new iPhone model that is considered to smaller and cheaper than the iPhone4.

They call it the iPhone Nano.

Bloomberg said that this smaller and cheaper iPhone would cost around $200. The article said,

"Apple also is developing technology that makes it easier to use the iPhone on multiple wireless networks."

Question is, how small is this small iPhone Nano? What could this look like? Well, no one knows yet. But HuffingtonPost asked its readers to submit photos of what this cheaper and smaller iPhone would look like. Here is one photo.
