Baron said during an interview with Karen Davila on Headstar,
"You know, I do not want to talk about that anymore. But I would like to apologize to Miss Pie. If I touched her or grabbed her in any way na she felt violated or offended, I'm very sorry, Miss Pie.
I was just doing my job po. I have no intention to put you in that position or to make you feel that way na ma-offend po kayo.
I'm very sorry, Miss Pie.”
Baron also apologized to the whole Philippine entertainment industry.
"Right now, I want to apologize to the entire industry for my actions. Sa lahat, sa director, sa producer, sa lahat.
And I'm gonna do my best to behave and just to be proper because I'd rather be addicted to my work 'cause I love it. I love acting so much. It's really my passion and sometimes when I do things differently, parang...next time I will be more careful.
The controversy stemmed from the accusation of Cherry Pie Picache during a taping of the teleserye “Noah” that Baron allegedly touched her breast. With that, the actress filed a complaint to the (PAMI) in order for Baron to given the necessary disciplinary action.
He also admitted that he will undergo a 90-day rehab. He is optimistic that the rehabilitation will help him understand himself and change and go back to showbiz.
